Founded in 1994 by reggae artist Tony Rebel, Rebel Salute is one of Jamaica’s most celebrated roots reggae festivals, bringing together outstanding musical talent, Rastafarian culture and a shared appreciation for conscious, uplifting music.

Traditionally held at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in Priory, St. Ann, the festival attracts reggae enthusiasts from Jamaica and around the world for an experience that celebrates the island’s musical heritage, cultural traditions and positive living.

Rebel Salute maintains a distinctive alcohol-free and meat-free festival environment, setting it apart from many other major music events. Fish has historically been permitted as an exception to the meat restriction.
