The Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial & Food Show is Jamaica’s premier agricultural exhibition and one of the Caribbean’s longest-established celebrations of farming, food and rural life.
Held annually at the Denbigh Showground in May Pen, Clarendon, this popular three-day event brings together farmers, agricultural businesses, food producers and families from across Jamaica.
First staged in the 1950s, Denbigh has grown into a major national showcase featuring livestock exhibitions, fresh produce, traditional Jamaican cuisine, agricultural innovations, cultural performances and family entertainment.
Livestock Exhibitions & Agricultural Displays
Discover some of Jamaica’s finest livestock, including cattle, goats, sheep and other farm animals, presented by farmers and agricultural institutions from across the island.
Visitors can explore exhibitions highlighting animal husbandry, farming techniques and the important contribution of Jamaica’s agricultural sector.
Fresh Produce, Jamaican Food & Farmers’ Markets
Food lovers will find plenty to enjoy at Denbigh!
Browse colourful displays of locally grown fruits, vegetables and agricultural products while discovering traditional Jamaican dishes, freshly prepared meals and locally produced specialities.
Farmers’ markets and food vendors showcase the remarkable variety of produce and flavours found throughout Jamaica.
Jamaican Food & Culinary Experiences
Food is a major attraction at Denbigh, with a tempting variety of authentic Jamaican dishes, traditional treats and innovative local products.
Savour favourites such as jerk chicken, curry goat, fried fish and bammy, alongside traditional sweets, tropical fruit juices and refreshing coconut water.

Farming Innovation & Technology
Denbigh provides a fascinating look at the future of Jamaican agriculture.
Exhibitions feature modern farming equipment, agricultural technology, sustainable growing practices and innovations designed to support farmers and strengthen local food production.
It’s an especially interesting experience for visitors with a passion for gardening, farming or sustainable agriculture.
Jamaican Culture & Family Entertainment
Beyond agriculture, Denbigh celebrates Jamaica’s cultural heritage through music, dance, competitions and entertainment.
Families can enjoy children’s activities, games and attractions, while cultural performances and live entertainment add to the festive atmosphere.
Celebrating Jamaica’s Farmers
At its heart, Denbigh honours the people who feed the nation.
Agricultural competitions, awards and special presentations recognise outstanding farmers, young agricultural entrepreneurs and the achievements of Jamaica’s farming communities.
The Denbigh Agricultural, Industrial & Food Show is a ticketed event, traditionally held over three days around Jamaica’s Emancipation and Independence holiday season.
Admission arrangements, opening hours and entertainment programmes are announced by the organisers for each edition.
