GETTING AROUND
Whether you need airport transfers or transportation to a tour, attraction, experience, or other destination, we are happy to arrange transport for you using our hand-selected, trusted drivers. All drivers contracted through Bona Fide Jamaica Accommodations are fully licensed by the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), which requires drivers and their vehicles to meet established safety, cleanliness, and operational standards, helping to ensure a comfortable and reliable experience for our clients.
We highly recommend arranging a van or bus with a dedicated driver for the duration of your stay, as this is often the most cost-effective and convenient way to cover your transportation needs while vacationing in Jamaica.
Driver gratuity is not included in the listed rates. A 15% gratuity is customary and expected in accordance with industry standards.

Wheelchair-accessible vans are available on request to accommodate guests with mobility needs. The van comfortably seats five passengers, in addition to the wheelchair passenger and luggage. A portable ramp is used for access, and the wheelchair is securely fastened inside the vehicle during transport.

Wheelchair-accessible vans are available on request to accommodate guests with mobility needs. Each vehicle comfortably seats five additional passengers alongside the wheelchair user and luggage. Access is provided via a portable ramp, and the wheelchair is safely secured inside the vehicle throughout the journey.
VILLA DINING
To ensure your smooth and comfortable arrival, pre-stocking groceries is arranged prior to check-in. This service is coordinated by us in collaboration with you and your villa’s chef, who handles the grocery planning and shopping based on the agreed menu. Guests typically create or select a preferred menu in advance, after which the chef determines the appropriate ingredients and quantities based on the menu and the number of guests in your party.
Pre-stocking allows guests to settle in immediately without the need for an initial supermarket visit and ensures that all essential ingredients and beverages are ready for your first meals at the villa.
Grocery items are purchased at cost on your behalf, with no mark-up. The cost of groceries is paid by the guest, along with any applicable transportation or delivery fees. Final costs vary depending on menu selections and guest count.
Once your booking details are confirmed, our team will coordinate directly with the chef to ensure everything is prepared in advance of your arrival. While every effort is made to source requested items, availability may vary due to seasonality or local supply, and on rare occasions, suitable substitutions may be required.
For your comfort and safety, we kindly ask that any food allergies or special dietary requirements within your group be shared with us in advance. When submitting your menu selections, please indicate any dietary needs along with the name(s) of the guest(s) to whom they apply, allowing the chef to plan and prepare accordingly.
Please note that groceries are purchased based on the agreed menu selections and the number of registered guests staying at the villa. If you plan to host visitors during your stay, kindly check with us in advance to confirm that your villa permits outside guests and that the chef is able to accommodate and prepare meals for the additional number of persons.
